Our first annual Golf Tournament and Art Show: Golf "Fore" the Arts Tournament and Art Festival. Saturday, June 5th, 2021, 8:00am-3:pm. Hosted by Payson Golf Club and Payson Art League, this exciting fund-raiser and Art Show and Sale will bring together competitive golfers, community advocates, musicians, art collectors, juried artists, and chefs for a lovely outdoor event. We will be raising money for the Art League, while providing a gorgeous venue for local fine artists to sell their works, open to the public. We will also conduct an auction of highly collectable small works from our region's world-acclaimed artists, as well as provide gifts, prizes, raffles, and amazing food and adult beverages supplied by Chef Randy Ortega Jr of the Fairways Bar and Grill. The tournament cost per person will be $100, get 10% off if you sign up a team of 5. Tickets available soon. Corporate Sponsorship opportunities are welcome! Contact Sarah or Bob for more details. We still have a few more openings for those wishing to participate in this 3 day workshop. It will start with our monthly PAL meeting, open to all, at Green Valley Park, 4/13, the following day will be an all day paint workshop on the banks of the East Verde River in Beaver Valley, and finally Thursday we will spend the day painting the Tonto Natural Bridge. Mr. Cramer will be coaching, teaching, and critiquing artists throughout the entire workshop. We’ve scoped out some of the most beautiful, paintable spots in Rim Country for this inspiring event. Pat Walker will be hosting PAL members, Mud Club Members and Ceramic students from EAC to attend an exciting all day event. Details to be announced soon. If you would like a ceramic artist to create a small vessel for you to glaze and fire, please let us know. A small fee will be charged for the vessel.
